Course Details
This course meets on Thursday, Friday and Monday. It consists of classroom instruction as well as practical application and exercises suitable for individuals interested in pursuing a profession as an armed security officer. In addition to the classroom instruction, the course includes interactive sessions and range qualifications that students must successfully complete. The curriculum instructs the proper care of a handgun, civil and criminal liability, firearms retention and storage, deadly force, range safety, principles of marksmanship, practical firearms handling and safety.
